We do not recommend hot beverages in copper.  It's an amazing material, and it's ability to get instantly cold when ice and water are placed inside is the SAME attribute that can cause burns if you put very hot liquids inside, and we DON'T want that.  Hot liquids will cause both the handle and lip to get very hot, so please, cold beverages only.
